What is Noospera?
Noospera takes your years of conversations with AI (ChatGPT and Claude exports today) and turns them into a personal map of how you think — a 3D landscape of the topics you return to, the questions you ask, and how your attention moves over time. We call the process limning: illuminating a manuscript with patient fine detail. We call the topic clusters noemas: units of thought, borrowed from phenomenology.
What's the difference between basic and premium patterns?
Basic patterns — free, generated instantly when you upload: total counts, activity over time, your most-said conversations, hourly / monthly distributions, fun facts. Yours forever, shareable as a public link.
Premium patterns — one-time unlock. The full limning generates a 3D interactive map, names your noemas (topic clusters), writes a personal- summary essay synthesised across your whole mind, and replaces the auto-generated conversation titles with descriptive limned ones. Typically $2–4, one-time, no subscription.
How much does the premium unlock cost?
Typically $2–4 for a year of heavy AI usage. The exact amount is calculated from your upload and shown to you on the payment page before you commit. Small uploads have a $1.50 minimum. One-time payment, no subscription.
What conversation files do you accept?
ChatGPT exports (the .zip OpenAI emails you, or the extracted conversations.json) and Anthropic Claude exports (conversations.json). Both formats are handled automatically — if you have a zip, just upload it; we extract the conversations file from inside.
What do you do with my conversation data?
We use it to build your map. We send it to OpenAI for embedding and summarisation (the foundation of the limning), and the results plus the original text are stored on our servers so you can keep exploring your noospera. We do not transfer your conversations to any third party unless you explicitly opt in via a forthcoming, separate listing flow. See the Privacy Policy and User Content License for the precise terms.
Can my data be used to train AI?
Aggregate and anonymised usage signals may inform model and product improvements, per the User Content License §2(c). Raw per-user content is not shared with third parties for their model training without explicit per-user opt-in. The same section of the License is the authoritative answer; this is the plain-English summary.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Visit /account and tap “Request account deletion.” We delete your account row and the raw conversations on file within about 14 days of receipt. Derived Artifacts (cluster essays, share-cards, anonymised aggregate stats already produced) may survive deletion indefinitely per User Content License §5 — that's a consequence of having generated them; we don't retroactively rewrite essays we've already published.
What AI models do you use under the hood?
Embeddings: OpenAI text-embedding-3-large. Code-message and conversation summaries: gpt-4o-mini and gpt-5.4-mini. Cluster-essay generation: gpt-5.4-mini. The default picks are tuned for the cost-plus-50% target above.
Where does my data live physically?
On Noospera-managed servers (currently Railway in US-East). API calls to OpenAI flow through OpenAI's standard API endpoints. Payments are processed by Stripe. Authentication and the embedded wallet are provided by Privy. We do not run our own cloud datacenter and we don't share customer data with any infrastructure provider beyond what's needed to keep the service running. What is the marketplace?
A forthcoming way for users to optionally license specific noemas (clusters of their conversations) to researchers and AI teams. Forthcoming means it's in design, not live. Even when it launches it will be opt-in only — nothing in your noospera leaves Noospera unless you explicitly list a specific cluster. Read more on the marketplace page and in Future Directions.
How do I share my basic patterns?
Every uploaded job gets a public share URL at
/share/<your-job-id>. The patterns page has X / LinkedIn / Reddit / Bluesky / copy- link / native-share / download-PNG buttons. The shared view is sanitised — strangers see your dashboard but none of the owner- only UI (status banners, payment CTAs, etc.).Why does it say I'm a 'night owl' / 'early bird' on the share card?
Your hourly conversation histogram falls into one of five chronotypes based on when most of your AI talks happen: night owl, early bird, afternoon thinker, evening regular, or round-the-clock thinker. The label and percentage on the share card are computed from your actual data; refresh the share URL after a new upload to see it update.
What if my Stripe payment fails or doesn't go through?
You won't be charged for a failed payment, and your basic patterns stay live regardless. If the charge succeeded but the limning didn't run, email [email protected] with your Stripe payment-intent ID and we'll investigate.
