Noospera responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and to equivalent claims under other applicable law.
How to file a notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or their authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient detail to locate it on Noospera (e.g., the URL of the page or the noema identifier).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

Registration of this designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (required for DMCA § 512 safe harbor) will be completed before any formal counsel-reviewed launch.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including: (a) your physical or electronic signature, (b) identification of the removed material and its prior location, (c) a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, (d) your contact information, (e) consent to jurisdiction of an appropriate U.S. federal court (or your domestic equivalent).
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the platform access of users who are repeat infringers.
Scope of removal
On a valid notice, we will disable access to or remove the identified material from the Service. We cannot retrieve copies already lawfully obtained by other parties before removal (for example, files a user downloaded prior to the takedown).
